Standard clear toughened has a slight green tint, which is more noticeable when viewing the glass edge on and where thicker or laminated glass is used. Low Iron or opti-white has less tint due to the reduced iron content. It is optically more clear, but is more expensive to manufacture. Laminated glass is generally used for glass treads to give additional strength and commercial usage for balustrading. We are able to acid etch and blast patterns onto the surface of the glass to act as an anti-slip and to give the staircase a personal touch.
