AutoPoint Lockers

Contactless technology has been growing in popularity for years, and now in current times is more relevant than ever. From card payments to click-and-collect shopping at the supermarket, transactions with no contact are becoming more and more common.

A recent example of this would be AutoPoint lockers, which bring the automotive industry into the ‘Amazon-era’. In partnership with eDynamix, the lockers are designed and built by M-Tech Engineering in-house at our Hucknall based premises.

These lockers provide a self-service approach to booking your car in for service or repair at a dealership. They allow you to drop your keys off in the secure locker and use the iPad to confirm your booking. They are available in an array of different shapes and sizes, making them suitable for a wide range of settings and environments.

Not only are these lockers ideal for current circumstances where we must be cautious and practice social distancing when required, they are an efficient solution to decrease wait times, giving a more streamlined experience for customers with less wait time.

The lockers have been generating interest all across the UK with a number of dealerships using them, including Toyota, Volkswagen and Hyundai to name a few. Thanks to the versatility of the software designed by eDynamix, they also have the potential to be used in other industries than automotive.
